I have trained with equestrian exports across the U.S. and in Europe.
Learning from a variety of disciplines in the equine industry, I use a combination of true dressage basics gleaned from many schools of thought.
Not subscribing to just one "method" or "system", my focus is on using the rider's balance and body isometrics in the saddle to orchestrate a horse with thoroughness and balance which is happy to work.
My teaching style incorporates common sense and a "back to basics" approach to good solid horsemanship for improving rider and horse in any discipline of riding.
SAFETY is always #1 whether riding or in close proximity to a horse.
To achieve good horsemanship, education is crucial and the only bad questions are the ones not asked.
"The Basics" are more than just beginner steps. They are fundamental skills which build upon each other, allowing for the logical and proper progression in the development of rider and horse. While the basics do take time to achieve, I know how to get the very best out of the rider and, consequently, the horse through years of invaluable experience. equestrian dressage training style
As we work together and you progress, watch as both your and your horse's muscles become more supple and stronger and his confidence in your work blooms. The light bulb with go on and ah-ha! you will find yourselves reaching your goals and, importantly, having fun.
The basics are just that and can be carried over into whichever horse your find yourself riding.
My history includes a vast experience working with the many different breeds competing in each discipline.
Whether you are new to the sport, experienced but need work with certain skills, or a seasoned rider and would just like another set of eyes to help evaluate problem areas, I would love to hear from you. Together we can work on the synergy of horse and rider to create a successful partnership.
